Before There Was a Brand, There Was a Way of Life
I grew up as the daughter of a farmer. Nature was not something I discovered later as a business idea. It was simply part of everyday life. There were cows, मिट्टी, natural surroundings and a closer connection with the things around us.
As life changed, I moved further into education and eventually studied Zoology. But the curiosity about nature, ingredients and the way living systems work never really disappeared.
Somewhere Along the Way, I Started Asking Different Questions
Modern life gives us convenience, but it can also make us disconnected. What is inside this product? Why is this ingredient there? Does sustainable living have to feel like a premium lifestyle? Can we bring the wisdom of our roots into modern everyday life without rejecting modern knowledge?
Those questions became the beginning of a philosophy.
Then I Became a Mother
The birth of my daughter, Adhishree, became a turning point. You begin to notice what families use and how difficult it can be to make thoughtful choices while managing a busy life.
Adhishree is not just part of the name; she is part of why the journey began. How can we help families make better everyday choices without making them complicated or unaffordable?
I Started Looking at Ayurveda Differently
My interest in Ayurveda grew through self-study, exploring classical texts like Ashtanga Hridaya, Charaka Samhita, and Bhavaprakasha Nighantu. My approach is to learn from tradition, question thoughtfully, compare with modern science, and experiment carefully.
Traditional knowledge and modern science are both important, and we use both to understand where each can genuinely contribute.

A Product Should Begin With a Problem, Not a Trend
Every ingredient should have a reason for being there. We don't add herbs simply because they are popular; we want to understand why they belong in the formulation.
"Every VK Varieties product begins with a real-life need, not simply a market trend."
In 2023, VK Varieties Became Real
The first product was a handmade soap, but it represented a willingness to learn by doing. From ingredients to packaging, every step brought new learning. Today, we are an MSME-registered business serving customers across India.
The Part You Usually Don't See
Better Choices Should Not Become a Luxury
Our belief: Your money should go primarily toward the product—not unnecessary packaging and marketing theatre. That is why "Sustainable for Prakriti & Pocket" is more than a tagline; it’s a fundamental belief that good choices should be practical for the planet and realistic for the household budget.
The VK Method
What started as personal learning became a repeatable way of thinking: Start with a real need, learn from tradition, review modern science, formulate, experiment, refine, keep it practical, and keep learning.
